Flowers Need Water

For all plants and under all conditions, scientifically determine:
* The right quanity or gallons of water for each irrigation.
* The right frequency or days between irrigating.

Specifically, for each plant, scientifically determine:
* The number of drippers to install.
* How often a valve should be turned on.
* And how long to let it run.

In other words,
* for the multitude of plants and as they vary from small to large,
* for the multipltitude of climates and as the weather varies throughout the year,
* for for the multitude of soils and as they vary from sand to clay or loam,
there are calculations for correct irrigation pactices.

Offered on this site are both:
* Explanations of concepts and the calculations,
* And a computer program, in simple Excel, that makes the calculations.

( You do not have to have to have a degree in botany to understand the information on this site. When scientic terms such as "evapotranspiration" and "yield threshold depletion" are used, they are simply explained in layman's terms. Additionally, the most dificult mathmatical operation used is the "divide".)
